Welton Baptist Church – Sanctuary a bus outreach project that operates each Monday evening between 8-10pm in Mid-Norton High Street. I’ve been involved with this project since February 2004.

Inside the bus with one of our volunteers Ali (who kindly takes care of the coffee bar) and one of our young people named Joe (18). Joe is a car body repair specialist and is going to play football for Welstock FC in the Bristol Churches League.

Nothing has inspired me more in Sanctuary than Tony another one of our volunteers. Tony spends the whole evening reading his Bible in the driver’s seat. Throughout the evening Tony feeds us with the word, which is priceless and motivates all the staff to spread the good news of Jesus.

WEBAY (West of England Baptist Association Youthworkers) meeting at my house in April 2004. The bond that exists between us in amazing. Our hope is to encourage other workers in the area to join our by-monthly meetings as we seek to work together to plan training seminars for young emerging leaders.
